    Notes:

    She, the daughter of Capt. Wm. Wolcott, a soldier of the Revolutio n, was of the family of Roger Wolcott, first Gov. of Conn. and descende d from Henry Wolcott who came to America in 1630 and settled at Dorcheste r, Mass., whence he removed to to Windsor, Conn. 1636. Henry Wolcott cam e from Golden Manor (Lolland, Solland, Tolland?) Somersetshire, Eg. and h eld a commission as Justice from the crown.
    (After further study, I find no information to back up the above statemen t that Rebecca is descended from Henry, and in fact I find evidence tha t she is descended from another Wolcott. - Todd Townley 27 April 2004)
