  • Notes
    • Soon after the death of his mother Wilson was adopted by his uncle Pliny Lathrop with whom Wilson lived until he was 19. On 21 August 1861, Wilson enlisted in the 14th Reg. Ohio Volunteer Infantry Co. F commanded by Capt. John A. Chase. Wilson was wounded in the Battle of Chicamauga and came home on furlough in Oct. 1863 where he remained through the winter. During this time he married Jane Edmonds. Wilson returned to the war in the spring of 1864 and remained until his death on 7 August 1864.
